Measurement

Length , Weight , Capacity


1. The standard unit to measure length is Meter.
2. If we divide a meter into 100 equal parts, each part is called a Centimeter.
3. 1 meter = 100 centimeter.
4. The kilogram is standard unit for measuring weight.
5. 1000 grams = 1 kilogram
6. The liter is a standard unit for measuring liquids.
7. 1000 millimeters = 1 liter
8. The amount of water that is needed to fill container such as a pot, a basket, a drum or a pan is called the capacity of the container.
